What exactly is Tiva Care?
Tiva Care is an AI-powered early-risk detection and chronic disease monitoring platform under development. It is designed to help patients and care teams better understand health information, identify concerning patterns and support timely medical follow-up.
How is Tiva different from other health apps?
Tiva's intended differentiation is the combination of laboratory information, future wearable data, a connected care circle and clinician-directed follow-up. Phase 1 begins with laboratory-result-based analysis.
Does Tiva diagnose diseases?
No. Tiva is not intended to replace clinical diagnosis. Its role is to support monitoring and highlight information that may require professional assessment.
Which chronic conditions will Tiva support?
Phase 1 targets six chronic conditions. The full list and supported capabilities will be published as the detection scope is finalised and validated.
Will Tiva work without internet?
Tiva is being designed with African connectivity conditions in mind. Specific offline functionality will be announced after development and testing.
Can family members monitor a loved one's health?
Tiva plans to offer permission-based caregiver and family access to relevant information. Patients' privacy and appropriate access controls will be central to implementation.
How will my health information be protected?
